How's The Evidence?
In order for evidence to be useful, that submitted in support of an argument must do three things. First, be relevant to the argument and convincingly supportive of it. Second, stand up well against examination. Third, support the argument against contrary evidence or evidence that makes a contrary argument. Evidence should be considered on its own merit—not that of cited authority—and with an open but critical mind.
